My windshield has been broken, how do I know if this will be covered by my insurance?
If your automobile is insured by a comprehensive coverage plan, your insurance will cover all windshield replacement expenses. You will only have to pay the deductible which can vary depending on your insurance company.
Will my insurance premium increase because I filed a claim for a windshield repair or replacement?
Damages to your windshield fall under the comprehensive coverage category of insurance. This does not reflect on your driving record and is not viewed the same as an automobile accident. Because of this, windshield replacements and repairs will not raise your insurance premiums.
